Montana Ghost Wood is dedicated to use as much salvaged timber from the wild fires and beetle killed forest as possible. The Mountain Pine Beetle and forest fires kill living trees but do not harm the integrity of the wood. A large percentage of the company’s timber is salvaged from these standing dead trees. Due to the high altitudes, low humidity, and short growing season; these dead standing trees are some of the best timber around because it’s been dried naturally by Mother Nature.
Generally left to rot on the stump and go to waste, these trees are now being reclaimed and used in the companies “Montana Ghost Wood” product line. Reclaimed from the forests for their customers for generations to come.
