DecKorators Rail Pipe Installation

STEP 1: Temporarily mount both Handrail posts. Measure the opening and cut the piperail to length. Make sure to leave one inch on each end to insert into the post.

STEP 2: Take down both posts to mark for holes. Find center by measuring up from deck level in the middle of both post. Do this on each side of each post that the railing is going.

STEP 3: Drill 1½'' holes, at least 1'' deep using paddle bit or forsner bit.

STEP 4: Mount the first post. Insert the Piperail into the hole and work the second post into the Piperail. Make sure the second post is plumb and then secure. Remember to have all hole drilled on the second post if the railing continues before mounting.

STEP 5: Piperail is installed and you're ready to install the rest of the rail.
